Blood for Blood- ONE SHOT - RECAP+ LOOT + TREASURE

The game started off with a “deal gone wrong” scenario. Bik, Thadddaeus Black, Thaddius Green and Phyridian were instructed to deliver a horse and cart to a couple of mercs who would pay them 50gp. Easy peazy, right? Wrong, nothing is what it seems in The Burned Place desert. The mercs had other ideas and wanted to pocket the 50gp themselves and what's a little murder when bodies are so easily disposed of in the sands. As the holdoff continues a sandworm snatches the assailants one by one leaving you with a very quick decision.
You find safety within a cavern. Bik, with all his mystery resorts to his Red Gem and is able to sleep the worm giving you just enough time to free the cart and the horse and place some distance between you and the worm. Rust Village isn’t far and you head in that direction. You learn by rifling through the cart that the mercs who attempted to kill you were to deliver the weapons as a ruse to the Village of Rust. They were to find out where Rackhmoor stays and gather the stolen pages back from him. These pages belonged to a sorceror and in the wrong hands could lead to imminent Doom. The KArst Brom Society wrote the offer and it was to deliver the pages to them for 200gp or destroy the pages and recieve 100gp.
Upon arrival in Rust, you and the cart are welcomed, well Green and Phyridian are welcomed. The Goblin Bik and Necromancer Black are shunned. The miners of Rust do not take kindly to that level of outsiders. This is a proud town and one that has fueled many campaigns with weapons and soldiers. Green and Phyridian suss out a recruiter who puts you on the fast track to Samil Toras, a castle which holds a prestigious Red Army. There Captain has come across an ancient power which gives his regiment an upper hand on most. The young men all clamor for visions of battle and far away lands. The caravan of young fighters left for Samil Toras early that next morning and you were very eager to go.
A cook/organzier of teens welcomes you into a room. It is there that you first see the nefarious plan. A feeble attempt by Drogar, the cook, to poison you goes awry. Bik places a dagger deep into the inner thigh of Drogar. The Soldiers that were in the room are man handled and slain. They mysteriously fall into a pile of rust, fabric and non-organics. There is more to this castle than meets the eye.
Using the snake ring, Phyridian bypasses the dart trap thorugh the corridor to the entrance of the main tower. It is the first floor of this tower that contains the office and kitchen of Drogar, the Drow Cook who took the blade to the inner thigh. His kitchen is chock full of soups and pork but also poisons, hallucinogenics and nefarious chemical concoctions. Drogar's inner sanctum also houses bed of furs, a coffee table and a mysterious woman. The woman was subdued by the drugs of Drogar. Her eyes were milky white and a single tear of blood falls slowly down her youthful cheek. Bik and MR. Black aid this women and free her from life's cruel prison but not before extracting a sorceror's spell and the memory of the "Ritual". It was here that Bik and Black find out that the ritual is tattooed on the back of Rackhmoor, the captain of this new blood army. It is here that the first legion of the Blood God begins to take shape. Rackhmoor must be stopped.
Further acscenion within the Tower reveals more magical daggers and belts and potions and finally the resting place of Rackhmoor. He awaits your arrival with his summoned blood-Steed and his 4 Soldiers of Blood. It is there through clever magic that he is placed asleep while his warriors could be fought and slain. Rackhmoor was able to be awakened and charges his mortal enemy Bik and sends him(Bik) flailing backwards with a vicious injury to the ribs and vitals above his stomach. Bik in a last moment of heroism cast his "HOld Portal" on the entrance just as blood soldiers came racing up the stairs to aid their captain. The portal was Bik himself, encapsulated in stain glass and remaining impenetrable. All the while Black's summoned Undead provided just enough distraction for Green and Phyridian to finish off Rackhmoor leaving the ritual open for the taking.
The battle concluded and the ritual was carved from the back of Rackhmoor.
The End
Bik's red gem was the only item left after his heroic demise. There is an anger within the gem that can be sensed by it's holder. A quick glance over the many facets of the gem reveal a breif reflection of a figure but the details are hard to make out. The blood from the battle stays perfectly still and no longer runs to the Pool of Red within the chambers below. The silence now is almost deafening and is only broken by the whisper of a figure amidst the darkest corner. A tall, gaunt woman engulfed in shadow and wisp visits you. She is pleased you have the ritual and states that she needs you to bring it to her. Her eyes are fierce and her brows and high cheekbones standout out amongst her dark shadowy complexion. She says she can be located in the small town of Karn Buldahr. She says she would like any remnants of the Goblin Bik to be brough to her. There is a forlorn look on her face as she mentions the lost Goblin. She promised payment and extra coin if delivered post haste. She walks forward with a noticeable gait in her step and her complexion reveals more of her beauty. "The world is going through change, I am pleased to see some good amongst all the evil. Come soon!" Her shadow vanishes.
As you vacate Rackhmoors bedroom and descend down the steps, past the piles of rust and broken steps you can see the surviving "volunteers" carrying their dead from within the now empty rooms below. As the sun sets the bodies pile up and the truth of Rackhmoor is now known. The Volunteers are unsure of what's next but the taste in their mouth is bitter and salty. Some have taken to a leadership role and offer to guard and protect Samil Toras and start a new. To carry on the hopes and dreams they originally had but this time do it right. First, the dead must be honored and the heroes that freed them must be celebrated. For the night is approaching and fresh food, ale and wine shall be delivered soon.
