The metallic smell of blood burning from within the village is unmistakeable. A violent battle has taken place here (Karn Buldahr). The fires roar over homes and bodies, weapons and armor lay strewn about the dirt streets.
The hour is late. You stand before the tall gates of Karn Buldahr. A creature of the night stares down upon you, beckoning you to walk away leaving this defiled ground to burn. Another creature whom is littered with knives in the back has yanked a farmer from his path and tears into the commoners scalp.

These creatures of the night stare at you as if they have seen you before. One stands amidst the street of the torn village while the other is seated comfortably atop the gate. Judging by the daggers and small farm implements seen jutting from their flesh, these creatures have seen battle already tonight. They are not tired but they have taken damage. They don’t want to fight but would love nothing less than to see you fall. The choice is yours: Leave for a new sanctuary or fight for what’s left of this one…?
