While you were surviving the Dwarven Catacombs the three remaining elders have been busy. The fourth elder’s head and partial torso was sent into another galaxy thus leaving her incapacitated but not entirely dead. Galactic whispers emanate from within her body calling for her master. Her blood reacts to the small solar system within as her heart slowly pumps into the vaccum of stars and planet. Detailed constellations are visible as if this woman’s torn body is a window to a micro Universe. Within this pocket-universe her memories spring to life through shooting stars, planetary shifts and new constellations. Images of ornate, starry hammers and vicious beings sprinkle her starry insides. The most interesting constellation was the foretelling and imminent betrayal of the Shadow King by the Vampire Lord. The fourth Elder, Helja, had plans to assist and aid in this treachery. The plans have been noted and seen several times by Buldahr’s sages and illustrators as each turning revolution of Helja’s inner Planet-space foretells more of her plans as she unfolds into the stars like the puppetry of Gods.
Thirty days have passed since you have surfaced and Karn Buldahr cannot make any sense of what they have seen and what these plans actually mean. However you, the player, might. The people long for simpler times of less magic and death. You have the choice to leave things as they are and flee the planet within the Southern Cross ship and Gorf ending this story and fulfilling your quest. Or you can stay and embed yourself further into this rich historical world.
Within those thirty days you have had access to all of Karn Buldahr’s abundant blacksmithing, leatherworking and library knowledge. In addition to the ale, food and pleasantries you will have gained some necessary boons that only come with rest and comfort. The Dwarves think you are leaving. Some are saddened, some are slightly happy for you and others are just thankful you were there in their time of need. Your renown amongst the Dwarves has pinnacled. Tears and blood have and will be shed and none will protect your honor as hard or as willing as Karn Buldahr.
If you stay-
The lands of Oscirath have been reshaped countless times by wars, famine, spellburns, the Gods and other calamities. Your power within this world has the ability to shape the very path of Oscirath. Deciding the fates of elf and dwarf, human and halfling. Your power to forge a war against the man who became a Shadow or the prince who was born of the very darkness itself, will be tested. This insidious Tower will represent the will of it's keeper. For the doors to the very landscape will be shifted and altered to the dreams and nightmares of the keeper himself. Accessing the tower will be perilous but there are few things within the realm that are impossible. Overtaking the tower from the shadows would leave those who embrace the light a figting chance against the men and beasts that thrive in darkness.
Unite the front and take the tower and those you have saved and will save shall echo your names for eternities.
